14 new drinkpreneurial concepts
The 14 new brand concepts competing at Drinkpreneur Live in London last week offer an interesting view of the latest thinking on new product development.
Prevailing themes were all natural, no added sugar and calorie consciousness, but there were contrasts too and great variety.
• 3 were adult oriented, including 1 beauty and 1 with alcohol
• 3 were energy focused
• 3 were tea based, including 1 hot
• 2 were birch waters
• 1 was a craft soda range
• 1 was for kids
• 1 was a liquid meal
The 3 winners were Tapped birch water, Lovo vodka with coconut water and T Sticks which infuse as you stir. My congratulations to them.
