Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Commercial Consultant to join our team, someone who can support our project teams, advise our clients and contribute to our working environment. This role will suit someone who is interested in the food and drink market, enjoys investigating and solving problems, is able to assimilate new information quickly, has strong written English and numerical skills, enjoys working in teams, is comfortable building relationships over the phone and face-to-face as well as being happy presenting internally and to clients. This is a demanding role and we are looking for ambitious consultants keen to gain rapid project experience and progress quickly.
What you can expect:
The role will be based at our offices in Bath. The main activities of a Commercial Consultant are:
Market research – Undertaking market research including quantification (market, category, channel and brands), forecasting, market and product segmentation, competitor profiling and benchmarking, and trend identification.
Proposal development and writing – Working with the rest of the team to develop and win proposals including background research, development of methodology, and budgeting.
Project delivery – Supporting the team with project delivery through market research, competitor profiling, partner searches and providing strategic recommendations.
Relationship building – This is a client-facing role and in order to support our project deliverables you will be expected to build relationships with industry players over the phone and face-to-face.
Presenting internally and to clients - Developing and, where applicable, presenting both to colleagues and clients.
Report writing and insight generation – Writing and contributing to Zenith Global's report programme. For any Commercial Consultant joining the team, we will agree a report which you will author within 6 months of joining the team allowing you industry exposure and the opportunity to increase your expertise in a particular sector. Furthermore, you will contribute to our annual reports programme.
Our clients are based all around the world and travel is part of the role.
