Now in its 10th year, the Global Bottled Water Congress is intended for industry leaders, suppliers, customers and analysts to gain a complete overview of the latest trends and thinking across all continents from top companies in each region, with extensive time for informal networking and discussion.

Bottled water is now back in more robust growth, but how much of its future is Force of nature and how much depends on continued attention to operating detail, improved sustainability, public health awareness and innovation? This year’s programme is designed to debate and answer these questions.

The event will cover the full range of market issues including global and regional trends, premium water and key areas of innovation as well as scheduling a dedicated day of market briefings.

The three day congress includes:

  • Conference sessions involving many leading producers and suppliers
  • Extensive industry networking time with top global figures
  • Dedicated day of market data briefings
  • Gala dinner and presentation of the 2013 Global Bottled Water Awards

The United States is the world’s largest market for bottled water, with a retail value of US$22 billion in 2012. Annual consumption of 108 litres per person continues to grow and is fast catching up with the European average of 115 litres per person.

Nashville is the capital city of Tennessee and is situated on the Cumberland River. Nicknamed “Music city” for the pivotal role it plays in the US music industry, Nashville is also home to a wide range of colleges, universities and cultural centres.

The Congress will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre. Located next to the Grand Ole Opry and set in 40 acres, the hotel is constructed over 6 floors, with 2,711 rooms and 152 meeting rooms. The hotel also features spectacular atriums and a range of modern amenities including 4 pools, as well as spa treatments and fitness activities at its renowned Relâche Spa.

Nashville International airport is located 8 miles north of the hotel, which can be easily reached by airport shuttle or by taxi.
