  • Coach departs from Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel for FrieslandCampina’s Innovation Centre, which is located on the campus of Wageningen University and Research Centre, approximately one hour outside Amsterdam.

    Opened in 2013, the Centre houses a large pilot plant with cooling and storage rooms, alongside laboratories and offices in a total of three highly sustainable and innovative units, connected by broad footbridges and atriums. The site occupies approximately 18,000 square metres and accommodates 350 staff who are directly involved in research and development. Built to a highly sustainable specification for heating, lighting and energy usage, it also provides charging points for vehicles in anticipation of a rise in the use of electricity powered transport amongst staff.
