What is it?

Zenith's annual InnoBev Awards are open to innovators and entrepreneurs as well as established brands from around the globe. The 17 categories will cover innovation, marketing, technology, packaging and corporate social responsibility across all sectors in the beverage industry. 
    
This year the awards will be presented at the 2018 Global Soft Drinks Congress in Prague.

It is €195.00 + VAT per category entry. Every fourth entry comes free of charge.

Sanjay Patel, Founder of Simple Better Human and Packaging Collective

Sanjay Patel has worked in the packaging industry for over 25 years in the USA, Belgium and UK.  As a cross category packaging innovator he has contributed to the electronics, agrochemical and personal care industries during his career.  He has recently left The Coca-Cola Company after 14 years where he looked after packaging for the Global water category for several years, building a 2-20 year shared value innovation strategy. Responsible for structural design, innovation and creativity within EMEA he also helped train up to 200 people a year as well as run internal hackathons, sprints and more holistic insight based innovation programs.  He is now a founding partner of both Simple Better Human and the Packaging Collective.

Jennifer Cue, Chief Executive Officer of Jones Soda Co.

Jennifer Cue is the Chief Executive Officer of Jones Soda Co., and she brings both passion and structure to the Jones family. Jennifer started at Jones Soda Co. in 1995 as a member of the Board, moving into a permanent operating role that same year.  Over 11 years as CFO & COO, Jennifer oversaw the initial growth and profitability of the brand, while eventually transitioning the company to NASDAQ.   In early 2006, Jennifer stepped away from Jones and out of the beverage industry while living in Paris, Rome and San Francisco. While Jennifer was away, the Company had numerous leadership changes and operational struggles.   In 2012, Jennifer returned to Jones as CEO, with a mission to turnaround the company, investing her own personal funds to achieve this result.  With a new diversified beverage portfolio, the company is now in a strong position to take advantage of opportunities.

Geoff Parker, Chief Executive Officer of Australian Beverages Council

Geoff Parker is one of the world’s leading beverage association executives. In 2009 following almost two decades of senior management positions in member-based organisations, government departments and private companies, Geoff took over as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Beverages Council. Since then he has successfully managed two mergers, significantly raised the Council’s profile with key stakeholders and firmly positioned the organisation as the respected voice of authority for the entire non-alcoholic beverage industry in Australia representing CSDs, bottled water and fruit juice. In 2010 he was elected President of the International Council of Beverages Associations (ICBA) and in 2012 was elected for a consecutive two-year term. During his tenure he was responsible for step-changing the ICBA to position it as the pre-imminent global beverage trade association. Geoff also serves on the Board of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations, and in 2017 was elected as its Vice President. Geoff has been on the Board since 2009. In 2015, Geoff was instrumental in setting up the ICBA’s Asia Pacific Regional Group – the inaugural regional arm of the ICBA and which now serves as the model for other regional beverage groups. Geoff is currently Executive Director of the APAC Group, representing the diverse non-alcoholic beverage industry in the region. Geoff is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds qualifications from the University of Queensland and Cambridge University.

Anne Wong-Evren, Advisory Director of Zenith Global Ltd

Anne Wong-Erven is a Managing Consultant within Zenith's Commercial team.  She is responsible for market opportunity assessments, route-to-market and channel distribution analysis, new product development and mergers & acquisitions studies. Prior to joining Zenith in January 2015, Anne had ten years of experience within the Canadian and UK food and drink industry in supply chain and project management roles. Anne holds an MBA degree from the University of Bath and Honours Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School.

David Beardmore, Brand and Impulse Director of Tesco Lotus

David Beardmore is the Tesco Brand & Impulse Director based in Thailand.  His role is to develop a global own label brand focusing on South East Asia. David previously lead the UK soft drinks category and lead the work on sugar reduction both at a industry, category and brand level.

He has both a retailer and supplier background leading commercial teams at Unilever, SC Johnson and Premier Foods. David holds a BA Hons degree in business and finance from Oxford Brookes University.
