How do I enter?

There are two stages to the entry process.

The first stage

  1. Simply click 'enter now'
  2. Fill in your company information on our application form
  3. Fill in your product/campaign name 
  4. Select the category/ies you wish you enter in to 
  5. Click submit! 

The second stage 

Once we have received your application and payment, a member of the awards team will be in touch to support you on your submission for the awards. 

What is required?

  • 1 short presentation (2 x slides of content) per entry made
  • At least 1 high-resolution image of your product (or video of your campaign)

*If you are entering either Best Marketing or Social Media Campaign, you qualify for 3 x slides of content. 

How much does it cost to enter?

You can enter multiple categories or products at a cost of £195.00 (plus VAT) per entry. 

If you enter 3 categories, the 4th is free! 

How do I pay?

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

Entries are paid by credit/debit card using the application process on our website.

On receipt of payment, you will be sent a confirmation email. An email with a pdf e-receipt as proof of purchase will follow.

What happens once I have paid?

Please refer to "How do I enter?" and view 'Stage 2' on this guide.

What is the deadline to enter?

Both payment and awards submission needs to be made by Friday 12 April 2019.

Where are the awards presented? 

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 15 May 2019 during Zenith Global's UK Soft Drinks Conference in London. 

While we would be very pleased to see you there, attending is not a condition of entering the awards.

When will the finalists be announced?

Once all judges have submitted their feedback and scores, all points will be counted and verified. 

A press release will be released announcing the finalists. All entrants and finalists will be notified by the end of April 2019.

We are delighted to hear that you are planning to enter the 2019 InnoBev Awards. Here are some guidelines and instructions to help ensure you increase your chances of winning and submit the correct information about your product/campaign/initiative/innovation.

All products entered must have been launched/ created/ rebranded from January 2017 onwards. If you have a product that is not yet in the market, it can still be entered as long as they are in their prototype/packaging stage by the closing date of this awards scheme.

Best Aqua Drink

This category is open to any packaged still/sparkling, water/plant-water based drink with added flavour/juice/enhancement. This includes, but is not limited to all flavoured, functional and plant waters.

Best Juice Drink

This category is open to any still or sparkling drink with a juice content of 5-100%.This includes, but is not limited to, fruit/vegetables juices/smoothies. Drinks may contain added sugar or be limited to natural fruit/vegetable sugars.

Best Children's Drink

This category is open to any packaged beverage aimed at children/younger consumers, with the target audience being aged 15 or younger.

Best Adult Drink

This category is open to any packaged non-alcoholic beverage aimed at adults (18 years+). This may include, but is not exclusive to, premium and craft drinks, tonics as well as mixers.

Best Tea Drink

This category is open to any packaged hot or cold tea or tea drink. This includes, but is not limited to, loose or packaged tea leaf solutions, ready-to-drink teas such as cold-brewed teas and iced teas.

Our panel of industry experts will independently review each submission against the judging criteria. They will score each entry on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) for each criteria and offer feedback or comments. Scores are then collated to reveal the winners and finalists in each category!

Claire Nuttall, Managing Director of The Brand Incubator

With over 20 years experience working in high calibre, demanding agency world with many successes working with big blue chip brands, businesses and entrepreneurial  start ups , Claire has a highly sought after mix of instinct, skills and down to earth approaches to innovation. Inspiring, fresh and challenging in her thinking, she adds that bit of a difference when you need it most or you have hit a block that seems impossible to break through. Her approach is entrepreneurial, identifying insights that will make a difference is a speciality, diagnosing where barriers or opportunities lie is another, then identifying, prescribing and implementing effective innovation, commercial strategies and  creative / marketing  solutions which help clients to accelerate growth and profitability of their business. From identifying the gap and solution for GSK's now £100m brand Sensodyne Pronamel or partnering the creation of a £19m food brand year 1 Claire delivers growth. Claire writes a monthly Talking Shop for the Food & Drink industry magazine The Grocer and feeds trend insights into LS :N  bi-monthly from 2014. She regularly speaks at industry seminars giving talks about innovation, NPD, future trends and the  ever changing  health agenda. She also co-founded the much talked of Thrive Talk Executive business club who meet bi-monthly to discuss edgy industry issues and challenges involving entrepreneurs, retailers, venture capital and big blue chip marketers and directors.

Geoff Parker, Chief Executive Officer of Australian Beverages Council

Geoff Parker is one of the world’s leading beverage association executives. In 2009 following almost two decades of senior management positions in member-based organisations, government departments and private companies, Geoff took over as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Beverages Council.Since then he has successfully managed two mergers, significantly raised the Council’s profile with key stakeholders and firmly positioned the organisation as the respected voice of authority for the entire non-alcoholic beverage industry in Australia representing CSDs, bottled water and fruit juice. In 2010 he was elected President of the International Council of Beverages Associations (ICBA) and in 2012 was elected for a consecutive two-year term. During his tenure he was responsible for step-changing the ICBA to position it as the pre-imminent global beverage trade association.Geoff also serves on the Board of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations, and in 2017 was elected as its Vice President. Geoff has been on the Board since 2009. In 2015, Geoff was instrumental in setting up the ICBA’s Asia Pacific Regional Group – the inaugural regional arm of the ICBA and which now serves as the model for other regional beverage groups. Geoff is currently Executive Director of the APAC Group, representing the diverse non-alcoholic beverage industry in the region. Geoff is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds qualifications from the University of Queensland and Cambridge University. 

Anne Wong-Erven, Insight and Advisory Director at Zenith Global Ltd

Anne Wong-Erven is Zenith’s Insight & Advisory Director. She is responsible for leading the Insights and Advisory team. She has experience undertaking market opportunity assessments, route-to-market strategy and channel distribution analysis, new product development and mergers & acquisitions studies.

Anne has undertaken in-depth commercial feasibility studies in North America, Europe and Africa.

Prior to joining Zenith in January 2015, Anne has over ten years of experience within the Canadian and UK food and drink industry in supply chain and strategic purchasing, and account management roles.

Anne holds an MBA degree from the University of Bath and Honours Business Administration degree from the Western University, Ivey Business School.

The winners of the 2018 InnoBev Awards were announced on 18 April 2018 at a Gala Dinner during the 14th Global Soft Drinks Congress in Prague.
