How do I enter?

 There are two stages to the entry process.

The first stage

  1. Simply click 'enter now' 
  2. Fill in your company information on our application form
  3. Fill in your product/campaign name 
  4. Select the category/ies you wish you enter into 
  5. Click submit! 

The second stage 

Once we have received your application and payment, a member of the awards team will be in touch to support you on your submission for the awards. 

What is required?

  • 1 short presentation (2 x slides of content) per entry made 
  • At least 1 high-resolution image of your product (or video of your campaign)
  • Some categories also require samples. Please check our entry criteria to see where this is required. 

*If you are entering either Best Marketing or Social Media Campaign, you qualify for 3 x slides of content. 

How much does it cost to enter?

   You can enter multiple categories or products at a cost of $225.00 per entry. 

    If you enter 3 categories, the 4th is free!

How do I pay?

   We accept most major credit and debit cards upon checkout on the awards website.

   After payment, you will recieve an order confirmation, followed by a PDF receipt, both by email. 

   If you are unable to pay by credit/debit card, please contact awards@beverage-digest.com 

What happens once I have paid?

   Once paid, we will contact you with the 'next steps' for your application process. 

What is the deadline to enter?

   Monday November 11, 2019 for both payment and award application/submission. 

Where are the awards presented?

   The awards ceremony will take place on December 9, 2019 during Beverage Digest Future Smarts, in New York.

   While we would be very pleased to see you there, attendance is not a condition of entering the awards.

Beverage Digest Future Smarts

This beverage industry update will give attendees a comprehensive review of the most important events of the past year and a road map for  what's coming next year. Speakers include the most accomplished and knowledgeable experts on the most profitable non-alcoholic beverage  market in the world. Executives from manufacturing, marketing, finance, investment, supply chain, distribution and elsewhere, who must be in the know, should attend the conference.

When will the finalists be announced?

   Once all judges have submitted their feedback and scores, all points will be counted and verified.

   All entrants will be notified of the results in November 2019. A press release will announce the finalists.

We are delighted to hear that you may enter the Beverage Digest Awards. Here are some guidelines to help you enter the correct category. To increase your chances of winning, please stick to these guidelines as closely as possible.

All products entered must have been launched/ created/ rebranded from January 2017 onwards. If you have a product that is not yet in the market, it can still be entered as long as they are in their prototype/packaging stage by the closing date of this awards scheme.

Our panel of industry experts will independently review each submission against the judging criteria. They will score each entry on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) for each criterion and offer feedback or comments. Scores are then collated to reveal the winners and finalists in each category!

Neel Premkumar, Founder and CEO of FORTO

Maya French, Co-founder of Koia

Seth Goldman, Co-founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea

Seth Goldman is Co-Founder & TeaEO Emeritus of Honest Tea and Executive Chair of Beyond Meat. Honest Tea is the nation’s top selling organic bottled tea, specializing in beverages that are just a tad sweet, organic and Fair Trade Certified. Caroline Levy, Senior Beverages, Household Products and Personal Care Analyst at Macquarie

Caroline has been a Consumer Stock Analyst for more than 20 years, beginning her career on the buy side in South Africa and continuing on the sell side following her move to New York. She has followed sectors including Restaurants, Beverages, Household/Personal Care and Lodging/Cruise Lines. Prior to joining Macquarie, Caroline spent eight years as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst in the research department at CLSA. She also headed the Consumer Research team at UBS, where she was COO in US Research and Chair of the Investment Review Committee. Caroline brings a broad and deep perspective to the industries she covers resulting from an extensive network of strong business relationships, expertise in Asia from her eight years at a leading Asian research firm, and her long-term coverage of the sectors. She has made numerous media appearances including CNBC’s “Mad Money with Jim Cramer” and Bloomberg. Additionally, she has been recognized multiple times in the Institutional Investor All-Star Survey and The Wall Street Journal Survey for stock picking and earnings accuracy. 

Bill Sipper, Managing Partner for Cascadia Managing Brands

Bill Sipper is Managing Partner at Cascadia Managing Brands.  He founded Cascadia Consulting Group in 2003 and merged with Managing Brands to form Cascadia Managing Brands in 2012.  He has held senior-level sales, marketing, operations, as well as c-level positions at several of the top beverage marketers in the world including Evian, Clearly Canadian, Nantucket Nectars, Fresh Samantha/Odwalla, and Ultimate Juice Company which owned Naked Juice and Zeigler’s Apple Cider, before selling to Pepsico. Fresh Samantha Odwalla was sold to Coco Cola.  Nantucket Nectars was sold to Ocean Spray. Bill has been helpful in acquiring and selling companies and has often led the transition from one to the other.

Vanessa Walker, Founder of Millennial Brands Consulting, Inc.

Vanessa Walker founded Millennial Brands Consulting, Inc., and uses her previous experiences, along with those of the other principles, to usher brands from concept to commercialization.  Formed in late 2018, Millennial Brands Consulting has several clients including, Fresh Blends, Tohi Ventures, Niagara Bottling, and Jones Soda Co., of which Walker serves on the Board of Directors.  Walker has worked in beverage and retail for 25 years and has a proven track record building strong business infrastructures,  turning brands around, and creating brands to attract consumers and develop winning categories at retail.

Prior to founding Millennial Brands Consulting, Walker served as the EVP Sales and Marketing, then EVP Marketing & Innovation for Celsius Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: CELH).  During her time at CELSIUS, she lead the re-development repositioning the brand from calorie burning to a healthy energy for the masses with tagline, “Live Fit”.  She lead the creation of a global brand brandmark, setting global standards for the brand working with Asia and EU business partners to create a uniform global brand. Walker reported directly to the CEO of global Celsius Holdings, Inc.

Previous, to 2016, Walker served as EVP Sales and Marketing of La Croix Sparkling Water, National Beverage Corp. (NASDAQ: FIZZ).  She visualized the brand’s repositioning creating a revised mission statement for La Croix and began strategically planning the revitalization transitioning the brand and the sparkling water category from a largely on premise category, to an everyday category growing category dollars from $624 million in 2007, to over $2 billion in 2016. Under Walker’s leadership, La Croix grew from a small regional brand into a major national brand, ranking number one in dollar share, then besting Nestle’s Perrier and San Pellegrino and leading the sparkling water segment in growth. A new corporate division was formed to support the rapid La Croix brand growth and Walker, named EVP Sales and Marketing lead the brand for eight years.

Prior to her time at National Beverage Corp., Walker was Director of Marketing, Big Red, VP National Accounts, IN ZONE Brands, and Regional Buyer (foods/beverages), and store manager, Target Stores. 

A graduate of The Florida State University, Walker received her EMBA in International Business from Mercer University. Most recently, Walker was named to the Zenith Global Beverage Digest judging panel for the inaugural awards, 2018, and to BevNet’s Leaning in to the Most Powerful Women in Beverage (August, 2018).

2018 finalists

We are pleased to announce the finalists for the inaugural Beverage Digest Awards. A panel of six industry experts narrowed the field of 90 entries in nine categories to the finalists listed below. Congratulations to our finalists, and thank you to all of the contestants for entering. 

Winners in each category will be revealed at a special awards ceremony during the Beverage Digest Future Smarts Conference on Dec. 7 in New York.
