Global dairy leaders meet in France
The 15th Global Dairy Congress will be held at the home of global industry leader Lactalis at Laval, near Paris, in France on 14-16 June.
This year’s event will be the first in-person for three years and its theme will be “Natural Advantage”. Its aim is to support the reassertion of dairy credentials by scrutinising the key dimensions of dairy nutrition, sustainability, innovation, communication, investment and commerce.
Two days of conference sessions will be opened by Lactalis owner Emmanuel Besnier. He will be joined by International Dairy Federation President Piercristiano Brazzale. There will also be sessions on:
• Global market outlook with Bloomberg, Kantar and Rabobank
• Industry leadership with Dairy Farmers of America, Lactalis and Nestlé
• Sustainability with Arla, Fonterra and Milcobel
• Promoting dairy with India’s Amul, Danish Agriculture and Food Council and IRi
• Innovation with Bel, Japan’s Meiji and Morinaga plus China’s Yili.
Additional speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks. The audience will be primarily manufacturers and marketers together with suppliers, customers and advisers.
“It’s a particular pleasure for us that the stature of speakers is at the very highest level of owners, Chief Executives and Directors,” commented Richard Hall, Chairman of Zenith Global, which organises the Congress. “We are aiming to make this event the Davos of Dairy, where new ideas are formed and new insights are taken away to improve the future of dairy businesses.”
Other highlights include visits to the world’s largest Camembert plant and the Lactalis Lactopole dairy museum as well as the World Dairy Innovation Awards hosted by FoodBev Media.
Group as well as start-up company discounts are available alongside full programme details at www.zenithglobal.com/events.
