UK bottled water conference focus on environment and ethics
With bottled water sales continuing to grow, this year's UK Bottled Water Industry Conference will focus on how companies are responding to new consumer concerns such as ethics and the environment. Taking place in Bath on 13th and 14th November 2007, the annual event will bring together speakers from leading brands and more recent innovators under the theme 'Bottled Water: Better World'.
The programme includes perspectives from market leaders Danone and Highland Spring alongside ethics pioneers Belu, Frank, Innocent, One and Thirsty Planet, providing a complete briefing on latest best practice. The CarbonNeutral Company, NSF International and Zenith International will present on carbon footprint issues. There will also be retail and market insights from Tesco, Waitrose and Zenith International as well as a Wellbeing evening at the newly opened Thermae Bath Spa.
Zenith International Chairman Richard Hall commented: "These issues are occupying the minds of all brand owners. This event will highlight how bottled water companies have risen to the challenge, developing innovative and exciting initiatives, and will provide a comprehensive overview for industry managers, suppliers, analysts and the media."
The event sponsors are Sidel, leading packaging equipment supplier, and Seaquist Closures, designer and manufacturer of dispensing closures and systems. This is the 16th annual UK Bottled Water Industry Conference organised by Zenith International.
