Zenith acquires vale water services
Zenith International Ltd has announced the acquisition of Vale Water Services Ltd on 11th April 2008.
This will enable the creation of a Zenith Vale Water division to provide a full range of water and waste water treatment services, headed by Vale founder Mike Carney.
"Having developed a client base all round the world over the last 15 years by solving problems associated with water supplies and the treatment of liquid effluent, I am delighted to be strengthening Vale's offering through Zenith", Mike Carney commented.
Zenith International has expanded rapidly in recent years to become a world leading food and drink business consultancy, with offices in North America and the Middle East as well as across Europe.
"While the main direction of our growth is to broaden our specialisation beyond beverages into food, we are also keen to deepen our leadership position in water management activities," added Zenith Chairman Richard Hall.
This is the Zenith group's third acquisition in three years. Overall 2007 turnover reached £5 million and the group now employs a team of nearly 100 staff.
"Vale Water Services has worked closely with Zenith for many years and we are now seeking to appoint a new Manager so we can further build our resources and geographic scope," concluded Zenith Operations Director Duncan Finlayson.
