Zenith appoints four new directors in four regions
With group sales rising by over 30% in 2007 to £5 million, leading food and drink consultancy Zenith International has announced the appointment of four new Directors in four regions to strengthen its local presence for clients.
In North America, Ross Colbert joined the company in January as Managing Director for Mergers & Acquisitions - Americas. He brings with him over 20 years of mergers and acquisitions experience, leading more than 50 transactions with a combined value in excess of US $1,000 million. Before that he worked for Cadbury Schweppes and a Coca-Cola bottler. He will be based in Zenith's new office in Cambridge, Massachusetts near Boston.
In the Middle East, Khaled Arafa becomes Packaging Innovation and Supply Chain Consulting Director, with a worldwide brief to develop consulting in procurement, production efficiency, packaging performance and environmental impact reduction. Khaled's previous career was with Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. Until 2007 he was a Director of PepsiCo International's Middle East and Africa Division, managing an annual budget of more than US $350 million. He will initially be based in Zenith's growing Dubai office.
In East Europe, Adam Bogacz takes on the new post of Director - Central and East Europe with a brief to develop a regional office in Warsaw to serve dairy, beverage and ingredient consulting opportunities in Poland, Russia and Ukraine. Adam ran an independent marketing consultancy for ten years, gaining clients such as Agros and Coca-Cola. Other subsequent senior roles included project management for Bacardi-Martini and work as Business Development Director for Ukrainian soft drinks producer Sesa.
In West Europe, Tim Chater has been promoted to the position of Commercial Consulting Director to assist clients primarily with marketing, sales and new market entry strategies. Tim joined Zenith in 2006 after a career with Nestlé in the UK, Australia and China, then as General Manager for Canderel UK/Ireland and more recently in a series of interim roles including General Manager - Marketing at Premier Foods.
