Zenith Global was commissioned by a large dairy organisation to identify the opportunity in Asia Pacific and Middle East for dairy and dairy ingredients supply to support the process of setting up an in-country office.
A market assessment of the Middle East, North Africa, South East Asia and China was completed, quantifying the volume and value split of dairy products- including milk, milk powder, whey protein, yogurt, cheese, butter, cream and ice cream- by category and channel. Zenith Global analysed dairy innovation in each region, the uses and applications of dairy ingredients as well as the local culture of consumption for dairy products, the competition and dairy import and export markets. Trade tariffs, import requirements and label regulations were reviewed; and regions were ranked to identify the dairy markets with the greatest opportunities for investment.
