Global Bottled Water Awards 2018
The Global Bottled Water Awards are designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across every category of the packaged water industry. The industry's only Global Bottled Water Awards are a great way for you to enhance your brand and can ensure your brand and products are recognised on a global scale by leaders in the industry. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at this year's Global Bottled Water Congress on 23 October in Evian.

How do I enter?
Simply click 'Enter now', select the category/ies you wish to enter and fill out your company information on the entry page.
You will recieve a confirmation email and then a member of the awards team will contact you with the 'next steps' on your application.
How much does it cost to enter?
You can enter multiple categories or products at a cost of €225.00 (excluding VAT) per entry. If you enter 3 categories, the 4th is free!
How do I pay?
We accept most major credit and debit cards.
Entries are paid by credit/debit card using the application process on our website.
On receipt of payment, you will be sent a confirmation email. An email with a pdf e-receipt as proof of purchase will follow.

What happens once I have paid?
Once you have paid, a member of the awards team will be in touch with further information on the 'next steps' of your application process.
What is the deadline to enter?
Both payment and awards submission need to be made by Monday 17 September 2018.
Where are the awards presented?
The awards ceremony will take place on 23 October 2018 during Zenith's Global Bottled Water Congress, at Evian-les-Bains in France.
While we would be very pleased to see you there, attending is not a condition of entering the awards.

When will the finalists be announced?
Once all judges have submitted their feedback and scores, all points will be counted and verified.
A press release will be released announcing the finalists. All entrants and finalists will be notified by the end of September 2018.

Best Natural Sparkling Water

Best Flavoured Water
To qualify as a flavoured water, fruit juice content should not exceed 25% of the product content.

To qualify for this category, you must have a water that serves one of more functional purpose e.g. contacts caffeine, magnesium, zinc, vitamins, minerals or other functional ingredients.

This category is to acknowledge innovation of a product or concept. You do not have to have a finished product to enter this category.

To qualify for this category, your brand or brand extension needs to have launched no earlier than January 2017.

This category is open to anyone with an innovative and exciting packaging and label design for bottled water. Examples of designs include interactive packaging, artistic or other unique label design, innovate bottle shapes. This category is also open to pouches, cans, cartons and any other water containers.

Best Packaging Solution
This category is open to anyone with an innovative packaging solution for the industry. Examples of innovations include interactive packaging, new or alternative packaing materials and sustainable packaging solutions.

Best Technology Innovation
This category is open to anyone with innovative technology for processing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution and safe dispense or vending. This includes equipment, materials, speeds, efficiency, quality, computing, e-commerce and the Internet of Things as well as sustainability.
Judged on:
- Degree of improvement from previous technology
- Degree of innovation from incremental to ground-breaking new concept
- Value of benefit in cost saving, efficiency improvement, breadth of application to wider industry

Best Marketing or Social Media Campaign
This category is open to any campaign, marketing initative, social media campaign or outreach or consumer engagement advert.
Judged on:

- Conceptualisation
- Execution
- Responses
Judged in proportion to budget spent, i.e. low-budget or localised campaigns will not be expected to generate as much response and the execution is evaluated with the budget limitations in mind.
Entry can include a video or link to your marketing campaign. This must be in English or have English subtitles. The video must not exceed 2 minutes.
Best CSR Initiative
This category is open to any social, community and environmentally-focused corporate responsibility campaigns and initatiatives. Entries can be internally or externally oriented or can be very local or national/international.
Judged on:
- Innovation of social community and environmental sustainablity presentation
- Evidence of sincerity and commitment to the initative
- Changes made relative to effort/money put into the initative
Entry can include a video or link to your marketing campaign. This must be in English or have English subtitles. The video must not exceed 2 minutes.

2018 Finalists
The finalists for the 2018 Global Bottled Water Awards are now published. The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner during the 15th Global Bottled Water Congress on 23rd October in Evian.
The awards are organised by global food and drink experts Zenith Global; with the support of five category sponsors; Ardagh Group, Bericap, ICE Water Management, Sidel and Tetra Pak. Additional support has come from numerous media partners and associations; Beverage Daily, Beverfood and British Soft Drinks Association.
