Athens to host second Global Dairy Congress
The Second Global Dairy Congress will be held from 11th to 13th March 2008 in Athens. Under the theme “Taste of the futureâ€, the main conference sessions will be on markets, consumers, sustainability, innovation, functionality and packaging.
Keynote addresses will be given by Kraft, Campina and International Dairy Federation President Jim Begg. Speakers include Amul from India, Clover from South Africa, Dairy Crest from UK, FAO, Fonterra Europe, Granarolo from Italy, Lacnor from UAE, Nöm from Austria, retail giant Tesco, Unilever and Vivartia from Greece.
The programme also offers a tour of Vivartia’s nearby yogurt facility, consumer insights and market briefings, case studies from other leading innovators and a gala dinner for the presentation of the 2008 dairy innovation awards on 12th March.
