European water cooler trade fair sell out
Organisers of the 1999 European water cooler industry trade fair in Paris next March are busy enlarging the space available for a second time.
"Water coolers are certainly living up to their claim of being Europe's fastest growing service sector," commented IBWA Europe Chairman Richard Azera. "We sold out the entire size of this year's event within a month of launching the 1999 plans and are now adjusting to an expansion of up to 50%, possibly even more."
The biggest stand so far has been taken by California based Universal Aqua Technologies Inc, whose CEO Marwan Nesicolaci explained that "attendance at the 1998 show was much higher than we expected and the majority were qualified buyers. This annual event has become the best platform to approach potential as well as existing bottlers." Three other companies - Ebac, Oasis and Semopac - have also greatly increased their stands to over 50 square metres each.
The 5th IBWA Europe Convention and Trade Fair is being held from 2nd to 4th March 1999 at CNIT in the Défense business centre of Paris. Its theme is "Bottled Water Coolers - Sources of Success."
The programme not only includes a two day trade show, but also practical workshops, conference sessions and Industry Awards. The main social functions are a cocktail reception in the roof top gallery of the Grande Arche and a gala dinner cruise on the river Seine starting near the Eiffel Tower.
The event is being organised by Zenith International and details are on their website at www.zenithinternational.com. "This trade fair provides a focus for everyone interested in water cooler bottling and distribution across both East and West Europe. We are able to offer very favourable terms to new category exhibitors and would be especially pleased to hear from possible industry newcomers about attending," concludes Zenith Chairman Richard Hall.
