Point of use points to Paris
Plans have been announced for the 6th European Point of Use Drinking Water Trade Fair, which will take place on 23rd and 24th May 2006 at the Paris Expo Espace Grande Arche.
With industry growth of more than 30% in each of the past five years, organisers Zenith International anticipate another record breaking event.
"This year we welcomed nearly 500 delegates from over 30 countries, up substantially on the previous show", commented Zenith Trade Fair Organiser Louise Gascoigne. "Already more than 70% of this year's space has been booked for Paris and many exhibitors are increasing the size of their stands."
Exhibitors who have confirmed so far include Allpure Filters, Aqua Cure, Aqua Planet/Saeco, Carbonit Filtertechnik, Cuno, Database Workshop, Dieau, Global Flavour, IMI Cornelius Europe, Mistral Constructeur, Oasis Europe, RLS, SIP Technologies, Touch-Flo Europe, Waterlogic International and Weil Industrieanlagen. German based Carbonit has also agreed to become a sponsor.
"Although bottled coolers are much more common, mains fed point of use units are steadily gaining share", added Zenith Chairman Richard Hall. "From an initial breakthrough in Ireland and the United Kingdom, the POU market is now advancing rapidly in continental Europe and this is bound to attract the attention of more service businesses seeking good margin and high growth potential."
The venue of Paris Expo is directly under the landmark Grande Arche in the modern Défense business district, with easy access to the Paris Metro and numerous nearby hotels.
The event will include conference and workshop sessions, adopting the theme of 'Widening the Water Network', and there will be an accompanying social programme.
