Point of use watercooler trade fair
The first ever international exhibition and trade fair for the rapidly growing point of use watercooler and water dispenser industry will be held on 21st and 22nd September 2000 at the Renaissance Hotel next to London's Heathrow airport.
"Business demand for better water quality and convenience is growing so fast that a whole new industry sector is being built up for point of use installations alongside bottled watercoolers," comments Richard Hall, Chairman of Zenith International which is organising the event under the theme of "Water Winner".
"The trade fair is aimed primarily at vending, foodservice and watercooler distributors as well as potential new entrants," he explains. "Most leading European and North American suppliers have already booked space."
"The location was chosen for maximum convenience, with on site parking and airport shuttle buses plus access to the exhibition and accommodation under one roof," Richard Hall adds. "The timing should also be ideal for 2001 planning and for North American visitors attending Aquatech the following week in Amsterdam."
The trade fair itself will open on 21st September from 12.00 to 18.00 and on 22nd September from 11.00 to 17.00. On 21st September there will also be a series of workshops in the morning and a social event in the evening.
A special industry association formation meeting will take place on 22nd September from 09.30 to 11.00. "There is a clear need for industrywide quality standards and representation. Interest has been expressed in associations being formed or linked with existing organisations at a national, European and even a global level," Richard Hall concludes.
