World Dairy leaders meet in Madrid
The chiefs of the world leading Danone and Nestlé dairy businesses will both be giving keynote addresses at the Third Global Dairy Congress from 21st to 23rd April 2009 in Madrid. Its theme ‘Making the most of dairy’ aims to explore changing market trends and product development opportunities in the context of growing economic, health and environment pressures.
Other top dairy companies on the platform include Leche Pascual, Dairy Management Inc, FrieslandCampina and Yili from China. There will also be insights from Global Dairy Platform, TNS Worldpanel, IGD, Sabic and AgriPoint, along with case studies on functionality from Wimm-Bill-Dann, Raisio, dairy innovation, Tine, Dahlicious Lassi and Kaiku.
In addition there will be a nutrition and health claims workshop with The Dairy Council and a dairy market briefing from Zenith International. Other programme features include a Leche Pascual plant tour and a gala dinner at Casino de Madrid.
Zenith International Chairman Richard Hall commented: “The Global Dairy Congress has quickly become a key date in the industry calendar, providing an effective high level networking opportunity and forum for debate on industry issues. We realise that financial constraints make it harder for companies to justify expenditure on conferences this year, but we believe that our panel of speakers and comprehensive view of the market could not be stronger. If senior managers have to choose to attend just one event in 2009, the Global Dairy Congress should be it.â€Â
The Global Dairy Congress is organised by industry experts Zenith International in association with dairy innovation magazine. Sponsors this year are Bericap, Frigoglass, Sabic and Tine.
