Zenith appoints two new Directors
Celebrating its 15th anniversary on 28th March 2006, specialist food and drink industry consultancy Zenith International has announced the appointment of two new Directors. Both are in their early thirties and are promotions from within the business.
Dr Ric Horobin becomes Water & Environment Director. With degrees in geophysics and hydrogeology, he has devoted his working life to environmental issues, joining Zenith in 2000. He now heads a highly specialised team that manages projects all over the world focusing on hydrogeology, hydrochemistry, microbiology and groundwater engineering.
Isabel Lightfoot takes on the new role of Events Director. A history graduate with an MBA, her previous career was in marketing, publishing and public relations across the international food and drink sector. After two years with Zenith's publishing business, she is now responsible for developing Zenith's portfolio of global congresses, conferences, trade fairs, seminars and training courses.
"These two appointments are a particular pleasure because all five of Zenith International's consulting and information services divisions are now led at director level and all five directors have worked their way up from middle management," commented Zenith Chairman Richard Hall.
