Battling against bottles
I’ve just read an extraordinary press release about a new idea called the Anti-Bottle.
The announcement runs to hundreds of words, full of flowery phrases. “The time has come to say goodbye to bulky and clunky reusable water bottles,” it begins. There’s a “new silhouette” and a “patented wide-mouth SuperCap”. But, to me, it looks more like a bottle than most other pouches.
The source – California, of course. The catch – it costs $11.99 for the 70cl size and $13.99 for the 1 litre version.
I also noted a questionable claim about using “less energy to make and transport than traditional bottles.”
