Now alcohol-free whisky
It had to happen, I suppose. We’ve long since seen alcohol-free beers and wines. Now a company has launched an alcohol-free whisky in the United States.
Reportedly the world’s first, ArKay is also calorie-free, carb-free, fat-free and sugar-free. But not taste-free, as it is said to have “the appearance, taste and aroma of traditional malt whisky.” It can even be served on the rocks.
In contrast to other alcohol-free drinks, instead of having the alcohol taken out, there is no fermentation or maturation and no alcohol enters the production process.
Whatever next ? Vodka-free vodka ?
